Do You Qualify?
Original Medicare Part A and Part B are available to U.S. citizens and legal residents who have lived in the United States for at least five years in a row. Medicare is individual insurance – it does not cover spouses or dependents.
Are You Eligible?
You may become eligible to receive Medicare benefits if you are age 65 or older, younger than 65 with a qualifying disability (eligible after 24 months of receiving SS disability benefits), or any age with diagnosis of ESRD or ALS.

If you are Medicare eligible, you have several avenues by which you can proceed with implementing your Medicare insurance planning.
You can fly solo and go online to medicare.gov and do your own product research and comparisons. Then, you can proceed with purchasing your Medicare insurance directly on an insurance company’s website.
You can place a telephone call directly to an insurance company and purchase your Medicare insurance through their in-house sales team.
OR … you can work with a licensed Medicare Insurance Agent to help you through the research, comparison, and decision-making process as well as to be available to answer any questions and help with your ongoing member service needs.
There is value to you to work with a local, independent, and experienced insurance agent who certifies annually with Medicare to help you navigate and compare the complexities of the various products and benefits with the Medicare insurance companies available to you. And … there is no additional cost to you by utilizing the expertise of an experienced Medicare insurance specialist.
